DESCRIPTION:SWING IT AT THE SPIRE!\n\n\nIntroducing Queen’s Swing Dance Club’s new 2-night Wednesday workshop series to improve your dancing!\n\n\nIn this all-levels class\, there will be a deeper dive into the finer points of Lindy Hop\, a bouncy\, energetic style of Swing traditionally danced to big band jazz music of the ‘30s and ‘40s.\n\n\nThis class will include exercises addressing frame and connection\, and explore how simple variations on basic movements can help you add personality and style to your dancing.\n\n\nThe class is meant for all levels of Lindy Hopper: whether you’re brand new and want to accelerate your learning\, or a returning dancer looking to brush up on your skills.\n\n\nDate:\nWed September 27\, 2023 from 7:00-9:00 pm\nWed October 4\, 2023 from 7:00-9:00 pm\n\n\nThe Spire – Lower Hall\n82 Sydenham St.\, Kingston\n\n\n$5 for Students\n$10 for Community Members\n\n\nThe QSDC recommends that participants have attended at least one of their introductory lessons\, but all skill levels are welcome!
