DESCRIPTION:The Baha’i Community of Kingston will be hosting a 6-part Fireside series on the Promulgation of Universal Peace which will explore concepts needed in today’s society to bring about the unification of humanity. \n“Fireside” is a term used by Bahá’ís to refer to informal discussions that explore a wide range of topics\, and the chance to learn more about Baha’i teachings. All are welcome at these gatherings! The goal is to provide a comfortable environment for an open exchange of ideas on subjects of importance to us individually as well as to our community\, country\, and the world as a whole. \nFiresides are not lectures. While the topics are presented from a Bahá’í perspective and with reference to the history and teachings of the Faith\, the forum is that of a brief presentation followed by a moderated\, open\, and candid discussion. \nRefreshments will be served.
