SUMMARY:Kingston Youth Orchestra Concert~ An Ode to Joy Festival
DESCRIPTION:Come and hear all three of our ensembles perform at The Spire: A-Strings\, Youth Strings\, and The Kingston Youth Orchestra. The Youth Orchestra’s performance will include classics by Schubert\, Rimsky-Korsakov\, and Tchaikovsky (Romeo and Juliet Overture) and Palladio by Carl Jenkins. The end of our program will bring all of our groups together with the Finale of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony\, which was premiered 200 years ago in 1824. \nCome celebrate the “Joy” of music with some of Kingston’s finest young musicians. \nProgram\nClassics by Schubert\, Rimsky-Korsakov\, and Tchaikovsky (Romeo and Juliet Overture); Palladio by Carl Jenkins; and the Finale of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony. \nTicket Information and Additional Notes\nTickets are $15 for adults\, $5 for students. 12 and under free. Available at the door. \nThe event is hosted by The Spire. KYO is a proud member of the Kingston Symphony Association.
