Follow the yellow stethoscope to MVN 2026! A heart-thumping night of talent, laughter & Oz-scultation magic awaits ️ #MVN2026

The 56th anniversary of Medical Variety Night, a charity variety show put on by the students of Queen’s School of Medicine. It is a longstanding tradition at the medical school, with participation from over 200 students as well as faculty members. Acts include musical performances, comedic videos, and dance productions such as a Bollywood dance, an a cappella group, and humorous videos created by each of the current medical school classes. Drawing an audience of over 300 each year, MVN has consistently been one of the largest events in Kingston. The event is frequented by Queen’s medical faculty, physicians, other healthcare workers from neighboring hospitals, students from the university, and the general Kingston community.

MVN contributes greatly to the local community. As a non-profit, we donate proceeds from our show to organizations based in Kingston and Eastern Ontario. This year, we are donating to the Youth Diversion Program (https://www.youthdiversion.org/). For anyone interested in supporting the show with monetary donations, these can be sent via e-transfer to medicalvarietynight@qmed.ca.

An accessible wheelchair entrance is located to the side of the venue, The Spire, where performers will enter. Wheelchair accommodation will be available in an accessible seating area inside the venue.

Gender neutral washrooms are available at this event.

If you have any other accessibility concerns or questions, please do not hesitate to email us at medicalvarietynight@qmed.ca
