If you were coming for an event in the Performance Hall you would enter by these doors. But in this case we will enter by the William Street door.
This fully accessible entrance is the primary entrance for all facilities other than the Performance Hall.
Passing the stairway to the second floor we enter the lower hallway. A few steps along on the left is the entrance to the Conference Room.
The Conference Room can be configured in multiple ways. Shown here is a typical meeting setup. A projector is available with the end wall suitable for screening. Coffee can also be made available.
This area is often used as a "Green Room" for performers as it is close to the performer entrance to the Performance Hall. It also has an internal washroom.
Configured in this manner the Conference Room can seat 40 people.
Continuing along the hallway we reach the main foyer. Note the elevator to the second floor.
Turning left from the foyer we enter the Lower Hall. This large space can be configured many ways. The attached kitchen is available.
Bright and airy it has a capacity of up to 100 people.
Back in the foyer a coffee nook is available for those using an area without kitchen access.
Also from the foyer is the interior entrance to the Performance Hall. This entrance is fully accessible.
The Performance Hall stage can be adapted from single performers to full orchestra and chorus. A sound system is available and a video system is planned.
The view from the front entrance.
The balcony commands an excellent view of the stage.
Backtracking to the William Street entrance we mount the stairway to the upper floor.
At the top of the stairway we enter the Upper Hall passing the Cantabile Choirs of Kingston office.
The Upper Hall can be set up in many ways. Here we see it set up for a chamber choir rehearsal. Peering through the doorway we can see the attached kitchen.
Set up for presentations the Upper Hall can hold up to 250 people.
The Upper Kitchen may be rented with the Upper Hall or independently.
Now we take the stairway off the upper foyer down to the fully accessible alley entrance.
This concludes our virtual tour.
We hope to see you soon for a real tour of this fabulous Kingston resource.
